The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District confirmed the case is located in the 2541 postcode.
In the 24 hours to 8pm last night, the ISLHD recorded 14 new COVID cases across the region, with the majority in Wollongong.
Wollongong recorded 12 new cases, with half of these linked to known cases, and Shellharbour recorded the remaining case, which is linked to a known case.

Numbers have remained low and steady in the Shoalhaven, with only four new cases recorded in the LGA this week.
Two new cases were recorded in Thursday's update, one new case was recorded in Wednesday's update, and no new cases were recorded in Monday and Tuesday's update.
NSW Health has not listed any new Shoalhaven exposure sites overnight.
NSW has recorded 249 COVID-19 cases and three deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
The state now has 89.1 per cent of its population aged 16 years and older fully vaccinated while 93.8 per cent have had a single dose.
As for the Shoalhaven, 90.9 per cent of the LGAs population aged 16 years and older are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and over 95 per cent have received a first dose.

The ISLHD has reminded the community that ISLHD vaccination clinics are now offering a booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine to people aged 18 years and older, six months after their second dose.
Appointments are preferred and can be made by calling the ISLHD Booking Team on 1300 096 365 during business hours, or online via the ISLHD COVID-19 Vaccination Support form.
Booster shots are also available at local general practitioners and pharmacies.
