TWO Victorian women diagnosed with COVID-19 have died in their homes. A women in her 60s from Hume and the other in her 40s from Darebin who both died have been recorded as the first deaths in the state this year. Chief Health Officer Dr Brett Sutton confirmed the news on Tuesday night. "Sadly, the Department has today been notified of the death of two Victorians diagnosed with COVID-19," he said.
