Emergency services personnel have been called to the Sturt Highway between Darlington Point and Narrandera following reports of a crash between a&nbsp;truck and a car. Police, paramedics, the Volunteer Rescue Association and Fire and Rescue NSW were called at&nbsp;7.30am on Friday.&nbsp;The driver in the car was trapped in the crash. An Ambulance NSW spokesman has&nbsp;said the driver later died on the scene. The truck driver was carting grapes and has minor injuries - he will be taken by helicopter to hospital. The Sturt Highway has been closed in both directions near the heavy vehicle Safe-T-Cam monitoring service. Police have declared a crime scene and will investigate the crash.
