For many South Coast kids, COVID lockdowns resulted in much of the year spent online learning and finding indoor activities to do, rather than having fun outdoors with friends.
The opportunity to run wild across town over the weekend dressed as witches, movie characters and even pumpkins, and appeasing their sweet tooths while they were at it, was embraced with open arms by local families.
For some young trick-or-treaters, like three year old Ivy and one year old Jace from North Nowra, it was their first time taking to the streets in their spooky costumes.
