The Shoalhaven has recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19 in Friday's update as the exposure sites listed by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District continues to grow.

All of the new Shoalhaven cases are located in the 2541 postcode.
The ISLHD has listed the following new exposure sites across the LGA and said anyone who visited the venue at the listed times is a casual contact and must come forward for testing, even where no symptoms are present.
- Bomaderry: IGA Lyndhurst and Liquor Bomaderry, 8/43 Lyndhurst Drive, 12:25pm to 12:35pm on Saturday October 9, 7:50am to 7:55am on Friday October 8, 7:45am to 7:55am on Monday October 4
- South Nowra: Bishops South Nowra, 21 Bellevue Street, 1:45pm to 1:50pm on Thursday October 7
- South Nowra: Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse South Nowra, 8/28 Central Avenue 1:55pm to 2:10pm on Thursday October 7
- Nowra: Nowra Aquatic Park, 20 Scenic Drive 1:20pm to 3pm on Sunday October 3
- Nowra: Chesters Takeaway Nowra, Shop 4/110 Kalandar Street 6:40pm to 6:55pm on Friday October 1

ISLHD confirmed 31 residents across the district have tested positive to the virus in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Of these numbers, Wollongong recorded 14 new cases with eight linked to known cases. Shellharbour recorded six new cases with three linked to a known case.
NSW has recorded 399 new positive cases of the virus and four people with COVID-19 died overnight.
The state also appears on track to have 80 per cent double dose in place by Monday, potentially delivering a raft of new freedoms just a week after the state's first "freedom day".
91.4 per cent of NSW residents 16 or over have had a first dose, with 77.8 per cent double vaccinated.
