Kiama MP Gareth Ward encouraged the community to share their thoughts on how the old Nowra Bridge should be used.
"As the new replacement Shoalhaven River crossing takes shape, now is the time to think about how we can utilize the old Nowra Bridge for the betterment of our community," said Mr Ward.
"I want to hear what locals think. I am encouraging residents of my electorate to write to me with their views and ideas so I can discuss these with the NSW Government and our local Council.

"So I am undertaking this local community consultation on what people would like to see happen to the old Nowra Bridge and why, as well as how it could be used in future.
"It could be community markets, community walks in celebration or commemoration or incorporating the bridge as part of a sporting event."
