"We have confirmed with our Public Health Unit that the correct bakery is the Plough and Harrow Bakery at 3/12 Paradise Beach Rd Sanctuary Point," they said.
"I am not sure how quickly NSW Health update their website."
The information has been corrected on the ISLHD Facebook page, however Sanctuary Point Bakery is still listed as a COVID-19 case location on the NSW Health website, which has been confirmed as the incorrect site.
Plough and Harrow made the announcement of a confirmed case visiting the bakery in a Facebook post on Friday.
"We regretfully inform you all that we have been updated by NSW health, who have confirmed that we were the bakery with a positive case last Thursday," they wrote.
"We apologise for any confusion caused by our previous post. We were misinformed by NSW health when we contacted them this morning, and have only now received confirmation.
"The store has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, staff are awaiting test results and isolating. We hope to be back with you shortly."

Initially NSW Health notified Sanctuary Point Bakery, next to BWS on Paradise Beach Road, on Wednesday about the exposure which was later confirmed to them as incorrect.
All staff at the Sanctuary Point Bakery were tested and presented negative results.
The bakery closed on Wednesday and Thursday and opened back up on Friday.
Owner of Sanctuary Point Bakery Vichet Seng said he was contacted by a contact tracer who googled bakeries in the area.
"NSW Health googled the bakery and it came up with our number and he rang us to say we had to shut down," he said.
"He thought there was just going to be one bakery in Sanctuary Point."
Vichet said he wasn't worried about the mistake as him and his staff tested negative and went back to work as normal.
"I wasn't scared, we got tested anyway," he said.
"We were just upset and disappointed for the customers. But everything is all good now."
The news of the exposure site comes after two new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Shoalhaven on Friday and fragments of the virus were detected in Culburra's sewage plant on Thursday.
Kiama MP Gareth Ward, who slammed the contact tracing and QR code systems on Monday, said the error was "disappointing".
"It's disappointing that the mistake was made, although I understand NSW Health is dealing with a lot. But at the moment, it's important information be timely and accurate," he said regarding the bakeries.
"Not only does incorrectly naming a business cause confusion for owners, it also can damage reputations.
"I think it's another example of Sydney bureaucrats just not understanding regional communities.
"It is an error, but I haven't seen these errors too frequently. Let's hope it doesn't happen again."
Anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath, is urged to immediately get tested.
Even people with mild symptoms, such as fatigue, new muscle aches or pains, a change in taste or smell or a new runny nose, should arrange testing as quickly as possible.
