On a cold night at the Goulburn Basketball Stadium, Ben Morris' Cubs struggled with their shooting, landing just 17 two-point field goals and five shots from downtown.
In the defeat, Austin Collings top-scored for the Cubs with 18, with Jeremy Harding and Jordan Bandur adding 17 and 10 points respectively.
Despite the loss, which drops them to 8-2 on the season, Morris' side is still second on the division two Waratah League table, with the undefeated Inner West Bulls White in first.
The black and golds are scheduled to face the Illawarra Hawks at the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday but with the COVID-19 lockdown currently imposed of the Greater Sydney area, that fixture, along with the majority of other Waratah League games, appear set to be postponed until further notice.
