THE Bomaderry Tigers continued their strong AFL South Coast division one men's season on Saturday by defeating the Port Kembla Blacks 7.12-54 to 3.10-28 at Kully Bay Oval.

The Tigers' fifth win of the season was set up by goals from Matt Polman (three), Max Hughes (two), William Ozolins and Corey Warrington.
Others to play strongly for the black and golds in the wet and windy conditions were Taidgh Larkins, Ryan Kelly, Adriaan Toms, James Phillips and Toby Craig.
Geoff Gibbs' side is now 5-2 on the season and sit in third after eight rounds, with only Figtree and Wollongong Bulldogs in front of them on the table.
This was the only Tigers team to secured a win on Saturday, with both the premier women's and division two men's side suffering defeats.
The women's side went down 5.3-33 to 1.3-9 to Kiama at Bonaira Oval, while the latter lost 5.14-44 to 1.1-7 to Northern Districts at Hollymount Park.
Elsewhere in the women's premier division, the Saints edged Norths 3.5-23 to 1.4-10 and Wollongong Lions downed cross-town rivals Bulldogs 2.4-16 to 2.2-14.
In the men's premier division, Figtree smashed Norths 14.11-95 to 2.3-15, Kiama thumped Shellharbour 8.13-61 to 3.7-25 and the Dogs were too strong for the Lions 9.8-62 to 3.8-26.
In other results of note, Kiama pipped Ulladulla 8.8-56 to 7.10-52 in men's division one, with Nowra-Albatross having the bye this round.
The latter's division one women's side went down though, losing 3.4-22 to 0.0-0 to the Albion Park Crows.
The Dockers' women's side didn't fare any better, losing 9.3-57 to 1.0-6 to the Bulldogs.
