The Hawks are still waiting to find out who they will play in this year's NBL playoffs, with Tuesday night's clash between the Phoenix and Bullets set to decide their fate.
Illawarra currently sit in third spot, but would slip to fourth if South East Melbourne secure victory at Nissan Arena.
If this scenario occurs, the Hawks will meet Melbourne United in week one of the finals, which begin on Thursday night.
There has been no confirmation from the NBL, with the finals fixture to be released on Wednesday, however Australian Community Media understands the WEC could host all three games due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation in Melbourne.
No matter who they face, Hawks guard Emmett Naar says his side will be ready.
"We will just wait and see. We've played both Perth and United quite a lot throughout the season, and they each have their strengths," Naar said.
"It's probably a bit tough to game plan for two teams.
"It would be nice to know more beforehand, but we just have to look after ourselves right now. And then we'll have a day or two to get ready.
"But we'd love to see this place [WEC] completely packed out again.
"Down the home stretch, the fans were really good and really loud.
"Even if it's not a packed house, they do a great job at being loud.
"To have this place full and really rocking would be good."
