There will be changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Nowra this week while essential maintenance and deck repairs are carried out on the old southbound Nowra bridge.

The historic bridge will be closed for four nights from Monday, May 24 to Thursday, May 27 between 8pm and 5am, weather permitting, to minimise impacts to motorists and for the safety of workers.
All traffic will be diverted onto the northbound bridge with one lane in each direction.
A reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place.

Motorists are advised to allow five minutes additional travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
The southbound bridge footpath will remain open during the work.
