At Ison Park, Norm Boardman's first grade women's side scored its maiden victory of the campaign by defeating the Lions 5-3, thanks to goals from Bronte Trew (three), Ella Munro and Lani Honecker.
Then in the under 15s, coached by Brittany Anderson, a brace from Lillian Skelly and strikes from Beth Tomlinson and club debutant Sara Jeffery helped the Phoenix comeback from a three-goal deficit at half-time to defeat the Lions 4-3 - marking their first three points of 2021.
South East's final win of the day came in the under 14s, where Zoe Anderson's outfit downed the Lions 9-nil - which moves the Phoenix up into fourth on the ladder with two victories and one defeat to their names this season.
In the win, both Caitlin Loudon and Lillian Skelly scored hat-tricks, while Lily Heckenberg and Addison Nicholls added two and one goals respectively.
Unfortunately, both the Phoenix's reserve grade and under 17s sides lost on Sunday.
In round four, all five Phoenix teams will once again play at South Nowra, this time against the Gladesville Ravens.
Action will kick-off on Sunday at 8.30am with the under 14s clash at 8.30am before the under 15s (9.55am), under 17s (11.25am), reserve grade (1.05pm) and first grade (3pm) take to the field.
