It will be the first time in over two decades that men's and women's world title points will be earned on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
Flying the flag at the event will be Culburra Beach siblings Owen, Tyler and Mikey Wright, as well as Gerroa's Sally Fitzgibbons.
Women's world number two Tyler Wright, who finished ninth at the recent Newcastle Cup, will take on Avoca's Macy Callaghan and United States' Caroline Marks in heat two of the seeding round.
Fellow women's competition Fitzgibbons, currently ranked fifth in the world, has been grouped with France's Johanne Defay and US' Sage Erickson in heat four.
While Owen Wright, who sits in 25th overall after being knocked out in the round of 16 at Newcastle, will face Hawaii's Seth Moniz and South Africa's Matthew McGillivray in round one.
Whereas his younger brother Mikey will lock horns with Brazilian pair Filipe Toledo and Adriano de Souza in heat three.
