THE 2020-21 Shoalhaven District Cricket Association season officially wrapped up at Friday's presentation night, with numerous of the region's top stars being acknowledged.

Held as the Worrigee Sports Club, the top gong of the night, the SDCA Player of the Year, went to North Nowra-Cambewarra's Justin Weller - who helped his club win their second-ever first grade premiership this season.
Weller was one of three Norths players to be recognised on the night, with Matt Hickmott and Troy Sweet taking out the Creighton Cup Player of Year and Most Improved (under 21s) awards respectively.
Another notable winner was Batemans Bay's Ainslie Dunn, who claimed both the Hutchison Award (service to representative cricket) and Volunteer of the Year awards.
Other major award winners on the night were Berry-Shoalhaven Heads' Alec Dobson (Sean Griffin Memorial - under 18s player of the year), Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens' Chris Regan (Graham Sawkins Trophy - curator of the year), Peter Done (Ted Regan Memorial - umpire of the year) and Darryl Koglin (being inducted as life member).
Moving onto the individual grade awards, Weller was named both first grade's bowling and aggregate award winner, with 20 wickets at 8.20, 34 runs at 17.00 and nine catches.
The other two first grade winners were Norths' Hyeon Parsons (batting - 201 runs at 28.71) and Ex-Servos' Nathan Tyrrell (all-rounder - 128 runs at 32.00, 16 wickets at 12.94 and one catch).
In second grade, the three winners were Sussex Inlet's Kyle Jarrett (batting and aggregate - 301 runs at 75.25, eight wickets at 11.13 and 13 catches), Bomaderry's Troy Cole (bowling - 20 wickets at 11.80) and Bay and Basin's Nathan Thorn (218 runs at 31.14 and 17 wickets at 18.29).
Third grade's winners this season were Sussex's Christian Sargood (batting and aggregate - 372 runs at 74.40, five wickets at 19.00; and five catches), Sussex's Aaron Piendl (bowling - 22 wickets at 7.73) and Bay's Tony Dcosta (all-rounder - 260 runs at 43.33, 16 wickets at 8.88 and three catches).
Finally, Bay's Tyler Frawley won three of the four fourth grade awards (bowling, all-rounder and aggregate - 267 runs at 26.70, 17 wickets at 9.06, one catch and one run-out) - with Berry's Craig Ingram (batting - 264 runs at 52.80) taking out the other.
Not to be outdone were the four Spirit of Cricket award winners, which went to Berry (first grade), Basin (seconds), Bomaderry (thirds) and Bay (fourths).
Norths' strong night was capped off by being named club champions, finishing on 26 points, ahead of Ex-Servos (22), Berry (20), Bay (18), Sussex (16), Bomaderry (11), Ulladulla United (nine), Nowra (eight) and Basin (three).
This was due to them being two-day premiers in both first and fourth grade - with Bomaderry and Batemans Bay winning second and third grades respectively.
Starring in those respective grand finals was man of the match winners including Norths' Troy Sweet (Jennings Medal), Bomaderry's Mat Bell (Davis Medal), Bay's Eric McMahon (Emery Medal) and Norths' Matt Guyatt (Bice Medal)
Other premiers acknowledged were one-day winners Nowra (firsts), Berry (seconds) and Sussex (thirds), as well as Twenty20 champions Ex-Servos (turf) and Berry (astro).
Standouts in those wins were Nowra's Matt Junk (Webster Medal), Berry's Richard Ingle (Evison Medal), Sussex's Christian Sargood (Clark Medal), Ex-Servos' Daniel Gleeson and Berry's James Milne.
