Owner Trevor Fredericks said the IGA Nowra business was due to close late in 2021, as the site was being redeveloped, however doors will close early.
"We took on the business in July this year, with the hope of improving it, with the plan to relocate the business to a smaller footprint within the Nowra CBD. " Mr Fredericks said.
"There are a number of external factors that have contributed to our decision not to continue with the business in Nowra, and to close earlier than we had planned."
Mr Fredericks thanked customers for their support.
"Many of these customers have supported the store loyally for many years, many of which I've been able to get to know personally," he said.
Mr Fredericks said the rewards card that was launched in September was still in operation, with points still able to be accumulated and spent through to the last trading day.
