We questioned if it could be the area's new Love Lock Bridge.
Love locks, where a couple place a padlock on a popular location, apparently as a way of declaring their love and dedication to each other.

Following a tip off we headed to the suspension bridge on Bens Walk over the Nowra Creek.
And there the movement has gained even more traction.
Around a dozen locks have been placed on the Shoalhaven River side of the bridge.
Some are spread out, others linked together.
In one case three are even entwined together - we don't know what that means or suggests?
We are assuming they are love locks or otherwise someone has a strange fancy for padlocks!
So apparently love hasn't been lost in Nowra.
