AS part of this year's exciting NAIDOC week celebrations, which were moved from July to November due to COVID-19, it was announced by Football NSW that their National Indigenous Football Championships would return to the field in 2021.

But plans are already in place to make the Ison Park event the biggest yet - eclipsing the mark of 550 players in 2019.
Registrations for the tournament, hosted by the Wreck Bay Sharks Football Club, open December 1 and close at the end of that month - with there being open men's, open women's and under 14 boys and girls age groups on offer.
"The competition will bring together men, women and kids from across the nation to strengthen and unite as one.
"Wreck Bay Football Club is proud to host Australia's top Indigenous Football Championships.
"This event has become more than a football tournament, it's been a people's movement from both the Indigenous community, the football fraternity and government."
