Less than one year after helping the Thunder outlast the Hobart Hurricanes, the former Bomaderry High School students steered their Indigenous side to victory against the Sixers - with COVID-19 preventing interstate travel.
The pair's Thunder side opened the three-game series, held from November 13-14, with a 5-119 to 6-117 win at the Raby Sports Complex.
In this match, Naomi made 13 runs and took 2-20 with the ball, while Lauren finished with 0-5.
Later that day, the Sixers overpowered the Thunder 9-128 to 7-99 despite Naomi's 26 and 2-20, as well as Lauren's 1-11.
In the series decider on Friday, the Thunder held their nerve to win 9-113 to 8-99, thanks to Naomi's 1-21.
