Work will be carried out on and adjacent to the Princes Highway from Sunday, August 16 between 6pm and 5am, weather permitting, as part of the Nowra Bridge project.
Work will include removal of the concrete medians on the Princes Highway between Moss Street at Nowra and Mattes Way at Bomaderry.
Utility relocations will also be carried out near the Princes Highway at Bomaderry Creek.
Electronic message signs will be in place on the Princes Highway to advertise of work in advance with measures including temporary lane closures, stop/slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h for the safety of workers and road users.
Motorists should allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time during night work, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
A new speed limit of 60km/h will be in place on the Princes Highway from south of Moss Street to north of Beinda Street from early next week until project completion.
Electronic message signs and new speed limit signs will be in place advising of the change.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
