Prior to starting their campaign, the Australians played SV Arminen in a warm-up match, where a goal in the 15th minute by their opponents was enough to separate the two sides, as it ended 1-nil.
Gray's side then defeated Thailand 2-nil in their opening match of the tournament, thanks to goals from Kelsey Hughes and Caitlin Burns.
The Aussies will look to build on this win during the November 3-10 competition.
