AN all-round performance by Jack Walsh has steered his North Nowra-Cambewarra side to victory against Sussex Inlet in Saturday's Shoalhaven District Cricket Association second grade fixture.

After being in on their home deck at the Bernie Regan Sporting Complex, Norths' openers Jack Walsh and Dean Tyson combined for a 109-run opening stand, before the skipper fell for 46.
But Walsh pushed on, with the helped of Glenn Tyson (32 not out), to be 82 not out at the end of 40 overs - seeing the hosts post a total of 4/203.
The four Sussex wickets takers were Martyn Davis (1/16), Adam Benning (1/24), Mitchell Davis (1/39) and Callum Franchi (1/42).
In reply, starts from Daniel Lea (28), Benning (21) and Paul Kezik (11) put the visitors in a strong position.
But they lost their final seven wickets for just 48 runs - to be all out for 123 after 39.3 overs.
Angus Lowbridge (3/24) was the star with the cherry, while Tobias Hanger took 2/26 - helping Norths maintain their perfect start to the season.

At Bomaderry Oval, Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens recorded their first win of the campaign, downing the Tigers by 37 runs.
The visitors won the toss and posted 9/223 from their 40 overs, paced by 71 by Luke Jones and 65 by John Bowern.
Leading for the way for the Tigers were Anthony Johnston (4/38), Mathew Bell (2/35) and Sebastian Jeffrey (3/29).
In response, the hosts only had four batsmen reach double figures - Johnston (83), Jeffrey (19 not out), Dan Roth (19) and Jackson Ingram (19) - as they finished at 9/186 from their 40 overs.
In the visitors' win, both Gary Fuss (3/31) and Shane Halliday (3/33) took three wickets each - with Jones taking 2/30.
The final match of the round saw Batemans Bay chalk up win number one for the season, edging the previously undefeated Bay and Basin by 98 runs.

The hosts at Hanging Rock won the toss and chose to bat first.
All seven batsmen for the hosts reached double figures, including Lachlan Malcolm (61 not out), Stephen Knight (53), Daniel Smith (24 not out), Zac Henstock (22), Ryan Hall (18), Sean Griffin (14) and Sam Lee (13) - seeing them post a competitive total of 5/222 from their allocated overs.
Rob Bleumink was the pick of the Dolphins' bowlers, taking 3/33 from his eight overs.
The visitors' chase started strongly behind knocks from Michael Burgess (42) and Tom Mason (27).
But only Bluemink (16), Brad Miller (13) and Nathan Thorn (10) offered any resistance tot he Bay's attack, as they were all out for 124 in the 30th over.
Praveen Varghese was the chief destroyer with 4/38, while Justin Rumble bowled strongly for his 2/27.
