While lots of areas in the Southern Highlands and Tablelands were blanketed in snow on Tuesday morning, Sassafras and Nerriga, just west of Nowra also felt the brunt.
Nerriga was covered in thick snow up to a few centimetres deep.
The Nerriga Hotel put up some amazing photos on Facebook.
The hotel's beer garden resembled a winter wonderland, while the area opposite the pub and Main Road 92 was spectacular.
Sarah and Phil Smith have run the Nerriga Hotel for six years, with Mrs Smith saying waking up to deep snow was "amazing".

"It looks pretty spectacular," Mrs Smith said.
"We've had snow up here before but nothing like this.
"This is a couple of inches thick. As far as you can see it's just white.
"It's beautiful.
"Some of the locals who have been here a long time are saying it's the most they have ever seen.
"Apparently the last time they had snow like this was October 2012, we took over July the following year.
"It's exciting."
She said they noticed snow falling around 3am Tuesday.
"It's pretty incredible, Sunday was beautiful and we had people walking around in shorts. Monday morning was warm and now we have snow.
"And it's in spring."
The spectacular sight has come at a cost with much of the Nerriga area without power.
"We have been without power for a while now and expect it to be a few more hours yet," Mrs Smith said.
"We're not sure 100 per cent it's to do with the snow but it has to play a role."
Closer to Nowra and Sassafras, just 40km west of Nowra as the crow flies, also had a covering of snow.
Similar to July 2015, Jenna Sanders and Zach Walker's property is again covered in a thick blanket of snow.
"It's not as thick as Nerriga, but it's still pretty spectacular," Mr Walker said.
