Hantis, 12, and his 23 NSW team mates will contest the Australian Junior Motocross Championships in South Australia in October.
Joining the St John the Evangelist Catholic High School student in the NSW squad are Seth Burchell, Hunter Collins, Ariana Collins, Heath Davy, Jack Deveson, Brock Deveson, Jayde Dudley, Blake Fox, Justin Harrow, Blake Hollis, Cooper Holroyd, Kayd Kingsford, Ryder Kingsford, Danielle McDonald, Ben Novak, Joe O'Donnell, Beau Price, Connor Rossandich, Rafael Rossiter, Maxton Stanbury , Taylor Thompson, Cameron Torpy and Ky Woods.
Hantis, who competed with the Australian team at last year's FIM World Junior Motocross Championship (WJMX) in Horsham, will come into this event on the back strong showings at the recent King of MX state titles and East Coast MX Series - where he currently leads the 9-12 years 85cc class - going into the next round this weekend.
