The charity fun run (and walk) has over 200 registrations so far - a new attendance record for the annual event. Even more are expected to come in during the final days.
With so many participants heading to the starting line this Sunday, organisers are confident they will smash their $10,000 fundraising goal out of the park.

Event founder and committee member Renee Henry said the event usually attracts a smaller but very enthusiastic crowd, so the surge in registrations would be a huge bonus.
"Usually we get a surge in online registrations during the days leading up to the event, and more registrations on the day," she said.
"Our crowd is normally small but passionate group, because there are a lot of events around the country that people can go to in regional areas and the big cities.
"People fundraise ahead of the day, and we do lots of fundraising activities on the day; with a few more people around it should increase our tally"
There has been a swell of local support for the event; there will be raffle prizes donated by local businesses, SES volunteers are firing up the community barbecue, the Husky Bakery is making pink cupcakes for the day, and a local coffee van will be on site.
Ms Henry said everyone on the organising committee has been touched by breast cancer in some way, and it has been their motivation for holding the fun run over the past six years.
"I started the event because of my mum, aunty, cousin, and lots of women in my family have had breast cancer," she said.
"The other committee members have all known someone, whether it is family or friends - it's not hard to find someone who knows someone with breast cancer."
"We all do it for the people we know."
While the Huskisson event is now in its sixth year, the national Mother's Day Classic is entering its 25th year.
The Mother's Day Classic at Huskisson is one of around 70 events across Australia, raising funds for breast cancer research.
