The championships were held during the past week at the Anna Meares Velodrome in Brisbane.
Adrian's gold medal came in the masters eight sprint championship on the second day of racing.
Adrian had qualified for the final with the fastest qualifying time and then won the gold in straight heats over Brian Collier of the Gold Coast CC.

Prior to this win, Adrian had already picked up two bronze medals.
On the first day of racing he rode a personal best in the individual pursuit championship with a four second improvement over the 2000 metres.
However, the opposition was running hot that day and a bronze was an unexpected delight for Adrian.
Adrian's rigid training regime was showing its benefits when he picked up another bronze medal that day in the scratch race championship.
On the day after winning the sprint gold medal Adrian raced in the 500 metre time trial championship for his third bronze medal and his fourth medal of the championships.
By the fourth day of racing, legs were getting tired and sore when Adrian lined up for the final of the 2000 metre paced keirin.
This was to be Adrian's final race of the championship series and a fast race resulted, with Adrian scoring his fourth bronze medal for the championships.
Adrian had entered for these Masters championships with the hope of possibly winning a medal of some sort.
Imagine his delight at getting a medal in every event he contested.
Adrian paid compliments to his partner Mary, his coach Gary Mandy, his training partners and the great support from his club mates at the Nowra Velo Club.
Locally, Nowra Velo Club will be back in action on Sunday, May 1.
