AgShows NSW president Tim Capp also presented the Nowra Show Society with an innovation award for offering a free musical show for all attendees at this year's show.
Young performers from the Albatross Musical Theatre Company JAM group performed the musical, titled Farm to Fridge, for the first time at the Nowra Show on February 4, 2022.
Imogen was a co-writer of the show which focuses on two key agricultural products from the Shoalhaven: milk and corn.
"I came up with is telling the story of milk production, because that's what we do here in the Shoalhaven. area," Imogen said.
"And it's really targeted towards younger children in the hopes that they will take an interest in agriculture and hopefully learn whether milk is produced."
The musical features acting scenes written and directed by Imogen and Julie Armstrong, with vocal direction by Paul Fraser and is filled with catchy original earworms from George the Farmer.
22-year-old Imogen accepted the title of Nowra Showgirl last year on Saturday, November 27.
Peak Hill's Molly Wright was announced as the inaugural The Land Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman 2022 winner. The competition celebrated 60 years and a name change - with the move away from 'Showgirl' to better reflect the importance of the competition.
Outgoing winner and final The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Jessica Neale said she was handing over a proud history.
"This last year has been one of significant change, and while the name of the program may have evolved over the years, the legacy of the Showgirl competition is what endures and deserves to be celebrated," Ms Neale said.
