The team was made up of five highly skilled young athletes who all put on great performances over the weekend.
All of them came home with a medal which is an incredible achievement at any level let alone at a national titles event.
"We couldn't be prouder of them...Both Tim (Head Coach Tim Parkes) and I are over the moon with all of their performances at their first nationals," 7th Dan Head Instructor Dale Bryce said.
Bryce said the event was an amazing experience and said it was valuable in every sense for the young students of the sport.
"Aside from valuable ring time with experienced competitors from around the country, it's always good for our up and comers to see the high level black belts in action," he said.
"It's just fantastic for their development, because they get to be immersed in an environment of quality athletes from around the country that share their passion for the sport."
"To come away with two national champions was amazing with both Oliver Walsh and Sienna Turner winning their divisions convincingly in their respective finals."
He said that it was very encouraging to see such a great turnout for the event and that it was truly special.
"It was an amazing event with a great atmosphere...it really got our guys fired up for their fights."
"The Senior Black Belt Finals were telecast on 7+ on the Friday Night which was great to see Taekwondo taking forward steps like this," Bryce said.
It has been two years since the last National Championships so it was always going to be a big event, with Bryce citing it as a great experience as well as a fantastic bonding event for the team.
"Everyone has come back home keen to get back to training and look to take it up a notch at the next competition," he said.
Eclipse will be holding an Open Day on Saturday April 30 from 10am to 2pm.
They will have class demonstrations that people can join in on, deals on Registration & giveaways on the day.
Bryce encourages everyone to come down and give the sport a go and have a fun time.
