* There have been 53,297,217 vaccine doses administered in the national COVID-19 rollout up to Sunday, including 41,619 recorded in the previous 24 hours.
* Of that total, 33,344,894 have been administered by commonwealth facilities, an increase of 21,186 in the previous 24 hours.
* State and territory facilities have administered 19,952,323 vaccines, an increase of 20,433 in the last 24 hours.
* More than 96 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 94.24 per cent are double vaccinated.
* A total of 10,821,136 adults have received more than two doses - a booster or top-up shot - an increase of 34,419 in the previous 24 hours.
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* 17,736 new cases: 4916 in NSW, 5611 in Victoria, 4114 in Queensland, 1217 in South Australia, 458 in the ACT, 569 in Tasmania, 627 in the Northern Territory and 224 in Western Australia.
* The national death toll is 4929 (+17): NSW 1841 (+7), Victoria 2379 (+3), Queensland 463 (+6), South Australia 166, ACT 33 (+1), NT 15, Tasmania 24 and WA 10. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Cases: at least 424,272,806
* Deaths: at least 5,886,794
* Vaccine doses administered: 10,350,411,821
