This year will be the show's 145th year. Established in 1874 it has been held at the Nowra Showground every year since 1885 and become a staple event of the Shoalhaven region.
With all the hurdles the previous years have thrown at us all, this event provides a great opportunity to bring the community together and share in the thrilling events of the day.
Speaking of let's prepare you for what's on so you don't miss a thing.
Friday, February 4 -
Central Events
8am - Main Arena: Equestrian Showjumping
Often a crowd favourite this event will kick the day off with a bang, bringing top class athletes to the arena to showcase their skills.
9am - Main Arena: Horse Judging
Ring 1: Stockhorses, Ring 2: All Breeds such as Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds, Ring 3: Miniature Horses.
9am - Cattle Arena: Dairy Cattle Judging (concludes about 12:30)
10am - Main Arena: Clydesdales, Shires and Heavy Horse Judging
10:15am - Cattle Arena: Milking Demonstration
A showcase of the Shoalhaven's best dairy cattle with samples of flavoured milk for the kids.
11:15am - Cattle Arena: Milking demonstration
1pm - Main Arena: Showjumping continues
A continued showcase of horses skill and athleticism in the main arena.
3:30pm - Sporting Events
6pm - Woodchop Arena: Woodchop program starts
One of the most popular attractions at the show, the wood-chopping competition is a prestigious event that draws the best axemen from around Australia to showcase their skills. Truly one to not miss!
6pm - Main Arena: Polocrosse Demonstration
Combining speed and agility Polo X is a team sport that brings together both polo and lacrosse. The skill and dedication of both rider and equine is truly special.
6:30pm - Behind Pavilion: Shoalhaven Concert Band
6:30pm - Main Arena: Ron McKinnon's Bullock Team
This team is one of only a few working teams left in Australia. Ron will be demonstrating the art of bullock-driving controlling the team using voice commands only. The display will also include of a history of Bullock teams in the Shoalhaven.
7pm - Main Arena: Sprint Cars
This event features some of the most entertaining racers in the country. Combining ultralight weight, with a huge amount of horsepower. These pocket rockets are set loose on a challenging dirt ovals in roaring packs of wheel-to-wheel action.
7:15pm - Main Arena: Nowra Showgirls introduced.
7:30pm - Main Arena: Dog High Jump.
A nail-biting event which showcases some of the best canine athleticism in Australia. Truly something to see.
8pm - Main Arena: Nowra Show Rodeo
Combining balance, flexibility, coordination and courage, the cowboys facing down a bull requiring just as much mental fortitude as it does physical ability. Who will take home the $1000 prize? Come find out.
10pm - Show Closes

10am - Animal Nursery, Minature Goats, Shoalhaven Vintage Machinery , RFS Display, Charlie the Brahman Steer and friend Bill the Buffalo, Defense Industries Display, Naval Aircraft Simulators, Children's Activities, Poultry Club.
11:15am - RFS demonstration
Noon - Woodchop demonstration
1pm - Plane Simple presentation
4pm - Club Havoc
Australia's longest running historical medieval battle team, competing in every world championship since 2013.

9:30am - Cattle Arena: Beef cattle judging
10am to 11:45am - Behind Pavillion: Live music by Kangaleles, Shoalhaven Community Choir, NUKEM
12pm - Main Arena: Equestrian fancy dress and Riding for the Disabled Classes.
12pm - Woodchop Arena: The woodchopping program starts

12pm - Cattle Arena: Cattle Paraders competition
12:45pm to 5om - Behind Pavillion: Live Music by Kangaleles, Shoalhaven Community Choir, NUKEM, Nowra Town Band.
2pm - Main Arena: Equestrian Sporting events.
One of the highlights of the sporting events will be the awarding of the inaugural Terry Bennett Memorial Open Flag Race buckle. Terry was a stalwart of the local show, especially loving the sporting events. He sadly passed away last year. Terry's favourite event in the sporting was the open flag race, which has now been named in his honour.
4pm - Main Arena: Grand Prix Show Jumping
5pm - Main Arena: Beaut Aussie Ute Parade
5:30pm, 6:50pm and 7:30pm - Main Arena: Camel Races (Heats and finals)
Watch a variety of local riders and Oldfield camels battle it out to be top camel and rider. An icon to definitely put on your show bucket list.
5:50pm - Main Arena: Shoalhaven Athletics Race Club
Who will win the graded handicap event, always a thrilling finish as the backmarkers try to catch those runners ahead of them over two laps of the Showground.
6pm, 7:45pm and 9pm - Main Arena: ARD Moto X
This exciting event will showcase death defying stunts to Nowra showground. There will also be a number of crowd giveaways throughout the event. With some truly impressive atheltes and terrifying tricks, this is definitely one to put high on the priority list of seeing.
6:20pm - Main Arena: Rural Fire Service Demonstration
The RSF Precision Tree Falling will demonstrate a range of chainsaw skills, showcasing speed, accuracy and safety. Not to be missed and definitely not something you should try at home!
:10pm - Main Arena: Showgirl Presentation and Raffle Draw.
9:15-30 (Approx) - Main Arena: Fireworks Finale

While the Poultry Events/Stage for the day have been cancelled the ever popular Chook Washing Demonstrations will still be taking place on the Saturday.
