The Woolworths Cricket Blast participants from NSW will step out onto the hallowed turf during the Fourth Vodafone Ashes Test Match from January 5 to 9.
Junior blasters aged five to seven year olds and master blasters aged seven to ten are representing 28 junior cricket associations and clubs during the Woolworths Lunch Break Experience.
The experience includes cricket-related activities in front of thousands of fans during an Ashes Test Match.
Cricket NSW chief execuitve Lee Germon said the opportunity to participate can't be underestimated.
"There are many amazing things about attending a test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground but to witness the pure joy on the faces of the children who feature in the Woolworths Lunch Break Experience is something which always resonates with me," he said.
"At Cricket NSW we strive to inspire people of all ages and abilities to play and love cricket through engaging programs.
"Thanks to both Cricket Australia and Woolworths, we are able to make some dreams come true through this unique experience.
"The NSW Cricket Pathway has a very proud and successful tradition of producing cricketers for Australian men's and women's national teams.
"Here's hoping many of the junior cricketers we see during this Ashes Test Match at the SCG are walking out to the middle wearing a baggy blue or baggy green in the future."
Auburn District, Bomaderry, Concord Briars, Kincumber-Avoca, Peninsula, Preston Hornets and Sydney Coastal Junior Cricket Clubs were invited to the lunch break experience for Day One on Wednesday, January 5.
East Albury, Mt Colah, Merewether, Narromine District Junior, Orange CYMS, West Illawarra and Western Suburbs Cricket Club (Maitland) were invited to Day Two on Thursday, January 6.
Bankstown District Cricket Association, Baulkham Hills Cricket Club, Charlestown Junior, Dubbo District Junior Cricket Association, North Sydney Junior District, Singleton Junior Cricket Association and St George District Cricket Association are invited to Day Three on Friday, January 7.
Gymea Bay, Harris Park, Ingleburn RSL, Jordan Springs, Rooty Hill RSL, Terrigal Matcham and Valentine Ebeena Cricket Club are invited to Day Four on Saturday, January 8.
West Ryde Rovers Cricket Club and Marrickville Cricket Club were also selected to participate in the official anthem ceremony.
Registrations are now open for the weekly 60-to-90 minute modified cricket sessions for children aged five to ten. The next four week program runs during term one across New South Wales.
