The club's administration manager recently received the Francine J Dessaix Blaze Spirit Award, after Sutton was deemed to embody the zeal, passion and spirit synonymous within the Blaze family this season.
The award was named in honour of Sutton's late mum Francine.
"To have this award named after my mother after she lost her battle with cancer this year was an absolute honour," mum-of-three Sutton said.

"I love netball and no matter what capacity I am involved in - whether it's working hard behind the scenes as the administration manager for the Blaze, playing club or representative netball for the South Coast - it is nice to be recognised for all the effort and commitment that happens on and off the netball court."
