Shoalhaven District Cricket Association duo Tara Rudd and Emily Zerafa will compete at the upcoming female country championships, after being selected for Greater Illawarra Zone.

Ulladulla United product Tara Rudd, who this season is playing for St George-Sutherland, will skipper Greater Illawarra's under 19s side at Raymond Terrace in January.
Her side, which features Sophie Heath and St George Basin's Joanne Kelly on the coaching staff, consists of Illawarra's Lily Savelli, Taya Kelly, Nina Segar, Kobi Lynch-Munro and Alana McEnearney, South Coast's Kate Lea, India Bellhouse, Taleha Urszulak and Tahlia Pracy and Highlands' Keira Hol, Hilary Swan and Beth Zupp.
While North Nowra-Cambewarra's Zerafa is in the under 16s squad, which will be coached by Craig Bramble and Paul Brockley.
Joining Zerafa in the 13-player squad, which will be captained by Taleha Urszulak, is South Coast's Aaliyah Humphreys, Tahlia Pracy, Cadence Waters and Jessica Bramble, Highlands' Annalee Watson, Neve Wallace Maeve Kaufline and Aya Maiden and Illawarra's Keisha Baldwin, Brooke Basu and Amelia Valdez.
