A mix of current councillors, fresh faces and previous candidates make up the list of council hopefuls who will be looking to gather community support ahead of the election.
In total, 45 people, including the six mayoral candidates, will be in the running for the 12 spots on the new-look council.
Current serving Shoalhaven mayor and Greens councillor Amanda Findley will be running for the seat again.
Three Shoalhaven Independents councillors Greg Watson, Mark Kitchener and Patricia White have also thrown their hat into the ring.
Independent councillor Nina Digiglio has put herself forward for the top seat for the first time, and former Shoalhaven mayor, Paul Green, who is currently not a councillor, has also put himself forward.
