The same group of players went down to the Victorians by 204 runs at Drummoyne Oval in a match that concluded on Saturday afternoon and saw Nowra's Nic Maddinson named player of the match.
The squad includes incumbent Test spinner Nathan Lyon and fellow nationally capped players Sean Abbott, Trent Copeland and Peter Nevill, as well as rising star Tanveer Sangha who made his Blues first-class debut last week.
Rounding out the squad will be skipper Kurtis Patterson, Harry Conway, Jack Edwards, Liam Hatcher, Lachlan Hearne, Daniel Hughes and Jason Sangha.
Following the Sheffield Shield fixture, the Blues and the Victorians will clash in their opening Marsh One-Day Cup match of the season at the MCG on Friday, November 12.
A separate NSW squad for that clash will be named in due course.
