There does not seem to be a week that goes past that Matt 'Fenndog' Fennell doesn't help someone, pass a milestone of sorts or raise money for an important cause.

He recently presented the Black Dog Institute with a cheque for $25,000 and wanted to thank all the people who made a donation and supported him during his epic trek down the Eastern Seaboard.
"I just wanted to say thank you very much for your donations," he said.
"I am just letting people know I handed over $25,000 to the Black Dog Institute."
He even got to "hand over one of those big fake cheques".
"Thank you so so much to everyone who has put in - be it $5 or two grand - again guys I can do this walk but I can't raise the money and I can't raise the awareness without you guys."
He asks for the donations to keep flowing in.
"I have a funny feeling if we reach 50 grand something big is going to happen," he hinted.
"Please guys give what you can but don't give more than you have please."
The Conjola resident also wants people to share the details of his trek via their various social networks.
Fenndog recently posted a video online talking about why he is doing the walk.
It was indeed an emotional one.
A man had heard about Fenndog's walk and they met at a stop along the road in Queensland.
This man wanted help and Fenndog did what he could and gave his new mate some advice from the heart.
"This young man is now following his dreams. He had some hectic adversity - shit I would not wish upon anyone," Fenndog said.
"He is still going to have his bad days as we all do - I still have my bad days but it's how you deal with those bad days and what you do with the good days that matters.
"That [meeting the young man] is one example and one reason that makes me so stoked that I am doing this walk.
"I always said when I started this 'if I change one life' then the job is done."
No doubt more experiences like this will take place as the trek continues.
"Just remember, it does not matter what has happened to you in your life - you always change and you can always make a difference in your life - you just have to want to do it," he said.
He said humbled was an understatement to describe his meeting and helping "this young man".
Fenndog was south of Nambour, in Queensland's Sunshine Coast region on Thursday.
He has a GoFundMe page where people can make donations. Donate here.
Matt has a Facebook page and Instagram page both full of details.
