He is confident his hard-working committee will be able to again make the Milton Show truly an amazing community event which will comply with the COVID-19 conditions at that time.
"A major change has been the retirement of our chief steward in the dog section," Ken said.
"Diane Richmond has carried out this roll most capably for 30 years and will be missed
"Her passion for dogs and the show could not be questioned and Diane organised for the very experienced dog show personality, Karen Wyers to take over."
Karen says as the new Chief Steward for Dogs she is very exciting to be working with Milton Show Society to bring the All Breeds Championship Shows to the Milton Agricultural Show on Saturday, March 5 2022.
Along with these shows, the Milton Ulladulla Dog Training Club will be hosting an Agility and Jumping Fun Trail.
The Milton Show Society was sadly forced to cancel the 2021 show due to COVID-19 and the dog events in 2022 are sure to be one of the many highlights.
Dog sports is one of the best ways to deeply bond with your dog and can be personally rewarding.
Championship shows demonstrate the purebred dog and its qualities.
Dog shows are held all around Australia, where dogs are judged by specialist judges against their breed standards.
Dogs sports are open to all dogs and owners to enjoy, including mixed breed dogs. Something special happens between owners and their dogs when they train for an event.
With your dog beside you at each turn, you become a true team in every sense of the word.
The Milton Show Society looks forward to seeing lots of dogs and email miltonshowsociety@gmail.com for more information on all things related to the show.
