None of the region's cases are linked to known cases and they are all located in the 2541 postcode, the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District confirmed.
The district's figures are also dropping with the ISLHD confirming 16 new cases of COVID-19.
Of these numbers, Wollongong has recorded ten new cases with two linked to known cases and Shellharbour has recorded two new cases which are not linked to known cases.
Kiama has recorded one new case which is not linked to a known case.
Sadly, a woman in her 80s from the Wollongong area died at Wollongong Hospital. The ISLHD confirmed she had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and had underlying health conditions.

Hospital numbers have passed 600, with 606 patients requiring treatment within the system.
Of those, 132 are in intensive care across NSW.
