As the name suggests the walks are all about getting people together and having a chat while undertaking a pleasant walk.
The walks are open to any veterans, current service personnel or any interested local community members.
It is the start of what will be a busy few weeks for the Keith Payne Group as they host a number of events for the upcoming Veterans' Health Week.
On Friday, October 22, the Walk and Talk event will also include a bacon and egg roll breakfast at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre from 7.30am to 10am to mark Veterans' Health Week.
On Wednesday, October 27 there will be an exercise physiologist luncheon for the men's group between 11.30am and 1.30pm at the entertainment centre.
On Saturday, October 30, a bushwalk and barbecue lunch will be held at the Depot Road picnic area at West Nowra, between 11.30am and 23pm.
And on Wednesday, November 3 there will be another exercise physiologist luncheon, this time for the women's group, between 11.30am and 1.30pm again at the entertainment centre.
In mid November the group will also stage rededication funeral services for a couple of ADF members at the Nowra General Cemetery.
