Of the Shoalhaven Local Government Area (LGA) cases, three are linked to known cases, five of them are in the 2540 postcode and four the 2541 postcode.
Of the 60 cases, 45 are from the Wollongong Local Government Area (LGA) - 14 are linked to known cases, six are from the Shellharbour LGA, with two linked to known cases.
There are no new cases from the Kiama LGA.

NSW recorded eight deaths and 587 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
The deaths included five men and three women.
There have now been 1903 local cases of COVID-19 in the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District since the start of the current outbreak in June.
As at 8pm Wednesday, October 6 there were 40 COVID-19 patients being treated in hospital.
There were more than 33,600 COVID-19 tests carried out in the Illawarra Shoalhaven for the week ending Sunday, October 3.
COVID-19 venues of concern are posted daily on the ISLHD Facebook page and a full list of all exposure sites in NSW is available on the NSW Health case locations website.
The community is reminded to remain vigilant for symptoms and get tested if any appear, no matter how mild.
Symptoms include cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath.
People with mild symptoms, such as fatigue, new muscle aches or pains, a change in taste or smell or a new runny nose, should also arrange testing as quickly as possible.
High rates of testing are critical to detecting transmission and preventing further spread of COVID-19 in the community.

Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District urges the community to continue to come forward for vaccination as soon as possible (unless you are a case, contact of a case, isolating or have symptoms).
