The source of infection for five of the new cases are under investigation.
NSW Health announced that stay-at-home orders will also be extended until October 11 for Kiama, Shellharbour, Wingecarribee and Eurobodalla.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District recorded 82 new cases overnight, bringing the total cases in the LHD to 1447 since June 16.
The bulk of these cases are in Wollongong, which recorded 59 new cases overnight with 11 linked to known cases.
Shellharbour recorded 13 new cases, with eight linked to known cases. Kiama recorded no new cases.
NSW recorded 941 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
The total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic is 62,164.
The state recorded the deaths of six people overnight.
