Jill Alexander-Morley passed away recently at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga at the age of 89.

Jill was born at Numbaa on April 9, 1932 in the home her parents had built in1923 on their dairy farm "Numbawarra' in Jindy Andy Lane, Numbaa.
Parents John and Nonie Alexander owned a registered stud of Illawarra cattle. John and his brothers exhibited the first Illawarra's at Sydney Royal Show in 1912 and many visitors came to inspect the cattle.
From a very early age Jill was always first at the door to greet them. Jill grew up with a lovely big brother John and little sister Vere.
The family later moved to Berry and purchased a dairy farm situated next to the Bowling Club
Jill was a prefect at Nowra High School and made trips to Bega and other towns to represent the school as an athlete.
Jill was also a member of the Presbyterian Church and Fellowship and was a strong debater in competitions held at other fellowship groups.
After passing her Leaving Certificate Jill took a position at the Rural Bank Nowra where she met Clive Morley who was also at the bank.
Clive and Jill were married in November 1955.They had two children, David and Robyn.
When the children left school Jill joined Grace Bros. store in Sydney and became supervisor of the Banking Office.
Jill loved to travel and made many trips to other countries.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
