A 24-year-old man has been airlifted to a Sydney hospital in a critical condition after a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Nowra.

The man has suffered chest, abdomen and pelvic injuries and a fractured femur.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Worrigee Road and Sophia Road, just east of Nowra around 11.15am on Thursday (August 19) after reports of a collision between a motorbike and a car.
The man's trail bike and a sedan collided at the intersection.

Three NSW Ambulance crews and a district inspector attended the scene along with NSW Police and Fire and Rescue NSW.
The man was stabilised at the scene and the Toll NSW Ambulance Rescue Helicopter called to airlift him.
He was transported to a nearby park, adjacent to Rayleigh Drive at Worrigee, where the helicopter landed.
The man was airlifted to St George Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
NSW Ambulance reports the male driver of the sedan was uninjured.
