The Australian eventing team has ridden into medal contention after Sunday's cross-country round.
Shane Rose and veteran Andrew Hoy delivered penalty-free runs, while Kevin McNab was also solid as the team climbed up the standings.
Starting the day in sixth, the team now sits second with just the jumping discipline to come.
Great Britain are well clear and look set to wrap up gold, with Australia holding a slim lead over France.
Rose is ninth in the individual standings, with Hoy seventh.
The riders complete one round of jumps to determine the team medalists, before the riders jump a second time to determine the individual medals.
The Berry product had a tough time in the dressage, but his horse impressed on Sunday.
"It was amazing," Rose said.
"[We] didn't put a foot wrong. He was amazing. It's great to have a healthy horse at the championships. He's in great form.''
