Huskisson's Jervis Bay Brewing Co got $600,000 for the installation of new equipment which the government said will make production more efficient and create more than 30 full-time jobs.
The brewery upgrades will include solar and cutting-edge hydrogen electrolysis technology that treats wastewater to produce hydrogen, which will be stored and used later in the brewing process.
South Nowra boatbuilders Innovation Composites received $180,000 to partner with JPK Pacific to start building the French JPK 10.80 yacht series, which the government said will create nine full-time jobs.
The money will be used to purchase new equipment, tools, yacht moulds and the latest production technology.
And Nowra chemical manufacturer Nowchem received $170,000 to build an industry standard testing facility which the government said will create more than eight full-time jobs.
Nowchem is the primary contract manufacturer for more than 30 pharmaceutical, allied health and chemical businesses, and delivers parallel services such as risk assessments, certification, training and research and development.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro said the $100 million Regional Job Creation Fund aims to create 5,000 new direct jobs in regional NSW by providing incentives to expand and keep operations in regional areas.
"Regional NSW is the engine room of the state and by providing support to companies like Nowchem to expand their operations helps to stimulate regional economies, boost livelihoods and provide local employment," Mr Barilaro said.
"This fund allows businesses to fast-track their growth plans, expand their operations and creates a solid base for job creation now and into the future.
"Setting businesses up for success helps the local community grow, as new jobs mean more people earning a wage and spending their pay packets in local stores, cafes, restaurants and on local services."
The Regional Job Creation Fund gives money to eligible businesses in driver industries with grants to purchase new equipment, expand facilities, create new production lines or establish businesses in regional NSW.
A driver industry is one which drives growth in a regional economy, typically trading outside of their specific region.
The government said the fund's focus is to co-fund projects creating at least five sustainable regional jobs. Applicants must provide a minimum 50 per cent cash co-contribution to the project and the NSW Government contribution will be no more than $20,000 per new job created through the project.
