Out on the floodplain, east of Nowra, frost was certainly evident.
Overnight the temperature at Nowra dropped into single figures around 5.20pm on Wednesday (July 7) and stayed there well into Thursday morning.
At 9.30am Thursday it was still only 9.5 degrees and only reached double figures just before 10am.
The temperature dropped to 3.5 degrees at 9.50pm Wednesday before returning into the high four and low five degree marks overnight.
By 6.40am Thursday it had dropped to 3.9 and just after 7am was 3.8 degrees.
Still a fair way off the coldest ever minimum July temperature of -0.5 on July 25, 2009.
Nowra is heading for a high of 16 degrees today.

Further south and the Ulladulla area wasn't as cold.
The temperatures dropped to single figures just after 7pm Wednesday.
Just before 1am Thursday the temperature was 7 degrees and remained in the seven and eight degree range up until 8am.
By 8.10am the temperature had jumped into double figures and by 9.30am was 12.2 degrees, heading for a high of 15.
Ulladulls's coldest minimum temperature was July 10, 1995, which reached 2.5 degrees.
