The only side to secure a point for the Phoenix in round 12 was Brittany Anderson's under 15 outfit, who drew 1-all with their rivals.
Kaitlin Garin scored the host's lone goal, with Makayla Crouch finding the back of the net for Nepean.
Despite going down 3-2, Norm Boardman's first grade side showed plenty of heart against the competition front-runners - pushing them for the full 90 minutes.
In the defeat, Bronte Trew continued her incredible season by scoring a brace - taking her tally to eight goals from 11 matches.
In the day's other results, reserve grade lost 2-1 despite Holly Lewis' effort, the under 17s went down 1-nil and the under 14s were beaten 3-nil for the visitors.
All five teams will look to rebound at their South Nowra home ground on Sunday against Southern Districts Raiders FC.
The under 14s will start the five-game slate at 8.30am before the under 15s (9.55am), under 17s (11.25am), reserve grade (1.05pm) and first grade (3pm) sides take to the field.
