The Shoalhaven was going to celebrate Make Music Day with a special Nowra concert featuring three local choirs - the Shoalhaven Community Choir, Raised Voices and the combined Sing Australia Choirs - Vincentia, Kiama and Wollongong at the Nowra School of Arts, in Berry Street, Nowra.
Make Music Day officially occurs on June 21 to coincide with the summer solstice in Europe.
Organisers are now hoping to be able to reschedule the concert later in the year, with a date yet to be confirmed.

The concert was also to feature award-winning singer, songwriter Olivia Corish, whose music spans many genres, including opera, music theatre, Christian and contemporary indie/folk.
Make Music Day is an international celebration of music that began 38 years ago in 1982 in France and has grown and is now a celebration of music across more than 1000 cities around the world.
Make Music Day Australia began in 2018 - with more than 100 events in 80 locations registering an event on the Make Music Day Australia website.
These numbers doubled in 2019 and again in 2020 when online events became a feature and the program of events was truly national.
In a statement organisers thanked everyone for their support and understanding, saying they will be endeavoring to "reschedule the event".
