As usual, traffic through Nowra is banked back, traveling at snail's pace and motorists are being told to expect significant delays.

The Transport Management Centre says northbound traffic is also heavy on the Princes Highway from Nowra to Meroo Meadow, adding at least 20 minutes extra travel time.

Through Nowra itself, some motorists are trying to beat the highway congestion by taking back streets through the town which is also creation heaving traffic, particularly in Berry Street, Bridge Road, North, Osborne and Hyam streets.
