The final step for the pair is to be officially named by the Australian Olympic Commission.
Woolley's path to Tokyo included a turbulent conclusion as Australia's team was struck down by Covid-19 during a recent tour to America.
Despite testing negative, the 17-year-old was banned from competing in the final Olympic qualifier, along with the rest of the squad.
Woolley said at the time it was frustrating, but he was pleased to see his place in the standings unaffected by event.
"It was really tough, being stuck in the hotel room, knowing that your position in the Olympics was at risk and there was absolutely nothing you could do," he told Australian Community Media last month.
