"The hundreds of exhibits in the pavilion are a major part of the show, representing many aspects of the local community from the mountains to the sea," he said.
"All ages can enter in any of the many categories from cooking, sewing and knitting, handcraft, art, photography, jams and jellies, floral arrangements, fruit and vegetables and many more sections.
"There are great opportunities for the local community to get involved and help project the rich culture of where we live.
"Besides local families, who have been involved for generations, it is exciting to see exhibits of newcomers to the area, introducing influences and themes from all corners of the globe.
"People are able to mix with like-minded members, get a couple of friends together join groups, and learn more creative skills."

Meanwhile, the behind-the-scenes power group of dedicated volunteers, the Ladies Auxiliary, now in its 90th year, helps keep everything on track.
This fun positive group of women, which is a subcommittee of the Milton Show Society, are looking for extra helpers to join up.
Not having the show this year due to COVID, bushfires and drought broke our momentum and we lost valuable members needing to concentrate on rebuilding their homes, farms and nurturing their families.
To join this devoted fun-loving bunch of women is a great opportunity to learn how all aspects of your community works.
Activities of the team include fundraising events and have a history of catering at wine shows, elegant high teas, luncheons, music festivals, cattle and clearing sales.
Auxiliary spokesperson, Christine Turnbull, says we need new members to continue our work to support many local volunteer groups.
"Get a couple of your mates together and come along to our meeting," she said.
The auxiliary has six meetings a year, the next meeting is Wednesday, June 16, 5.30 at the Showground Office, Croobyar Road Milton.
